Perchance to Dream - Short Film
Director: Alex Knudsen
Screenwriter: Alex Knudsen
Based on the Short Story by: Charlotte Zang
Production Begins: April, 2017
"Perchance to Dream" is an incredibly visceral and visual story surrounding the very last moments in a heartbroken widow's life and her immediate and mysterious reincarnation to her younger self.
Pre-productions is currently under way.
This productions of this film will be a stark contrast to our last film, "Consuming Beauty", which took over two years to produce with the challenges of adapting a full novel, finding a period castle to shoot in and all of the challenges with raising money and executing the production design and costumes of the late 1800's. "Perchance to Dream" is a modern stripped-down drama with three actresses, almost solely shot in one location. The simplicity of production design, costuming and shooting style will reflect Charlotte's short story. This film will be produced and completed before this summer and then move on to the Festival Circuit.
